What type of visa do I need to work in Canada if I am English

What type of visa do I need to work in Canada if I am English?
I am English and interested in working in Canada in Child Care or Early Education - what type of visa do I need? And what constitutes as a common law partner? Thanks!

In Canada, a common law partner is someone with whom you have been cohabiting in a conjugal relationship for at least one year. Regarding working in Canada, you will need a work permit. The Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) website is pretty good at really spelling out the requirements - see this link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp Best of luck.
