Can a US citizen work in Canada under a LLC without applying for a work visa?
I am a US citizen under a 1-person LLC, my own company. What procedure needs to be followed to be employed as a contractor in Canada under that LLC? Is this possible? And would this circumvent the est 3 year waiting period for a work visa? Many thanks, S

IF you are doing business with canadians then you must pay taxes in Canada so yes you DO need a work permit. What 3 years wait? There is NO 3 year wait for a work permit. IF you mean immigration then NO a Work permit will NOT circumvent the 3 years processing time. If you do wish to immigrate you will need to immigrate under the skilled worker category because your business does NOT fit the requirements for self employed. see links below

Hi, I am a 14 year old teen that is looking for a job this year, and am wondering what the restrictions are in Canada. I have found information in the U.S. saying that the teen may work anytime after 7AM until 7PM. I cannot find any information regarding Canada though. I am looking at getting a job in a restaurant, most likely a busser.

Is it better to apply for a residency for living in Canada or get a work permit first
Is it better to apply for a residency for living in Canada or get a work permit first?
Im not sure what the procedure is...I know I can apply for residency as a skilled professional but is there an easier way i.e. is it better to find a job first and get a work permit? Basically...my question is, what is the most efficient and most hassle-free way of being able to live and work in Canada?
