Tell your friend to go to website of the shipper he/she wants to use. All of the info should be there.

Will a starbucks gift card from canada work in the US?
I have a gift card that I got from Canada with a balance and I would like to mail it to a friend in the US. Will they be able to use it at Starbucks in the states? The back of the card does not mention anything about Canda.

They can be used anywhere. There is no "best when used in Canada" label on the card.

First, a college in Canada is basically a trade school. It's where all the street smart people go (try getting a job with a masters in philosophy) Second, the grades are more relaxed. There is no SAT. You just need a 65% (for the worst universities). For the top notch like York or UoT, you need to sacrifice your first born or know someone who went (If your grades are below 85%). Universities in Canada have collective agreements with each other. Some are to the point that they're like teams. One team might have a GPA system of 12 points. Another team might have one of 8 points. And transferring from team to team.. don't bother. I'm only familiar with the 4 point system. Take all of your classes and average them together. 80% and above is 4.0. 75 to 80% is 3.5. yadda yadda yadda. Tuition is about 6k to 12k a semester. Our mid tier universities (Western) are ranked higher than the ivy league schools in the US.

Every US college and university has its own procedure, but here's basically what you need to do: 1) Complete an application (you can often find this at the colleges' website). More information: http://www.universitylanguage.com/guides/how-to-fill-out-a-college-or-us-universit-application/ 2) Take standardized tests, such as the ACT or SAT. These are offered around the world. Would an Xbox 360 console and games bought in Canada work in Europe plug/game wise

Would an Xbox 360 console and games bought in Canada work in Europe plug/game wise?
Ok so this is my problem, I want to buy an XBOX 360 from here, in Canada as well as Halo 3 here or just any game to satisfy me. I wanted to know if this same xbox 360 console would work in Europe like being able to plug it in with some kind of watt changer and also being able to run those Canadian purchased games in Europe. Any help? Thanks.

You will need to buy US games, or other REGION-FREE games in order to play. Sorry, cannot play PAL games on that console. XBox 360 console absolutely works 100% with a European power converter, the same things US & Canadian tourists use when travelling abroad. If there are similar stores to RadioShack in Canada, see if they sell what you are looking for <they closed Canadian Radioshacks, tho>. They can cost from $60-$100. Just remember that it's for something that can handle 250watts <like for computer equipment, appliances, etc>.

An Xbox and games bought in Canada will work - The Xbox will automatically change the power wattage - You will have to use a converter for the plug though Games will work fine - although you wont be able to buy new ones in europe as they will be from the PAL region. Hope this helps!
