Will a Kindle purchased in Canada work in America?
I live in Canada and am planning on purchasing a Kindle for my boyfriend. He is currently in Afghanistan, and is American. Will he be able to use it? I'm assuming as long as he is using an American credit card it shouldn't really matter. A kindle is a kindle right? Thanks a lot.

Yeah that's a scam. If you ever see an email for employment in Canada that you don't know about or did not expect, don't read it. I live in canada and I see a lot of messages telling me I just won a green card, which is just as big a scam as the message you got.

would a computer game bought in canada work on a computer from the uk
would a computer game bought in canada work on a computer from the uk?
we recently moved to canada from the uk, and we brought our computer with us. i was just wondering if i bought a computer game over here, would it work on our computer? our computer has a switch on the back to convert it to uk or usa-ness, and theres one game that i really want to get, but i just wanted to check first if it would work, as i dont want to waste my money. so what do you think? would it work? thanks :)

Yes though this wasn't always the case. The need to convert a game between USA/Canada and UK?rest of the world and back died with the PS2

Duh Computer game discs don't know where they are. They won't magically stop working just because they're on another continent.

what do I do with info about a company that has workers from Canada working in the US with improper work paper
what do I do with info about a company that has workers from Canada working in the US with improper work paper?
I use to work for this company. The papers stated that they were here to work on warranty machinery. They were really here building new machinery. Not warranty work. And would send people to Mexico as tourist to install heavy machinery. What can I do?

As for the illegal workers in the US, report them to immigration. Mexico also has strict laws against illegal immigration. Contact your local Mexican Consulate to see what steps you can take to report this company.

Check out the ICE website. You should be able to find your local office.
