How can my lady work in Canada when she has an Irish passport but has been living in England for a long time?
My girlfriend and I are planning to work the the next winter ski season and maybe the remainder of the year in Canada. She is having major problems getting a Visa because she is Irish but living in England. We don't know what to do as we really want to run free with the moose. Thank you very much. Do you happen to know of ways for people to get job offers before they enter the country? I've noticed this is a requirement.

she can apply for a work permit. if she is legal in england then she should NOT have any problems. if she is ILLEGAL in england then she might have problems. she must then go back to ireland and apply from there. Oh yeah - a work permit implies you will stay at one place and work. if you want to run with the moose then she can come on a visitor visa and stay in canada for 6 months BUT she CANNOT work.

How does car relocation work in Canada
How does car relocation work in Canada?
I am looking to drive across canada, roughly from Vancouver to Montreal, but I do not have a car. I think that renting would probably be pretty expensive, and I am only 20, so that might not work. A friend told me about various sites that allow people to have others drive their cars long distances for them, if they are moving or something, and I was wondering if anybody had any details on that, my attempts at research have been futile. Thank you in advance.

can you live and work in canada without citizenship?
I've known people who lived and worked in America that were still a citizen in Canada, and pretty sure wern't here but have lived here for a long time. So how exactly does that work? Especially if i were to go to school up there?

you can become a permanent resident and have the right to live and work in Canada with out being a citizen but you must qualify to immigrate to get permanent residency............the same applies for most countries If you just wanted to go to school in Canada you will need a student visa, you would not qualify for permanent residency until you finished your education and had work skills Canada needs

would the samsung d840 work in canada if it was bought in the philippines?
im planning to buy the samsung d840 from the philippines and get it shipped to canada.. would it work? because i heard that some cellphones dont work in other areas. thank you so much.
