Im sorry, this is just kind of rude. But You couldn't do that in any other country, why canada??? canada isn't the U.S. I couldn't get one if I wanted to work in the U.S. Whats the difference ?? But anyways, http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp See you soon :)

Of course not! Just as a Canadian cannot just work in the US without a visa. You will need to get a work visa to work in Canada.

I believe you can visit there freely, but not work freely. If you receive a job there, you can apply for work visa

Not at all. Your American social Security is valid ONLY in the US. Canada is a different country with different laws. To work here in Canada you need a work visa, that cna be obtained through sponsorship from your employer. Once you get your work visa you'll have to apply here in Canada for your Social Insurance Number, because if you're working in Canada you'll have to pay taxes here as well. That's the govt website to look for the info on Canadian work visa http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/index.asp And this one is about your SIN card..(social insurance number) http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eng/s
