I'm moving up to Canada to study, and am DESPERATELY looking for a job, but im unsure if i can get a job OFF CAMPUS. i know i can on campus. but would i be aloud to off? with just a study visa? or will i have to get that work study visa thing after 6 MONTHS?

Here is information on the matter: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/work-offcampus.asp You will be required to receive a work permit. Why not get a small job on campus to support you for a while until you can find something [possibly] better off-campus?
